We MOVED! Come see us in our new location
just around the corner.
Welcome to Marjie’s Gluten Free Pantry, formally Simple of Fenton.
On May 8th, 2010, Marjie C. Andrejciw, Holistic Nutritional Counselor, became the new owner. It is the same great food co-op and place to purchase environmentally sound health care and cleaning products. If you were a co-op member of Simple than your membership is still valid.
The biggest change is that all of the products carried in the retail store are now gluten and dairy free. It is the first store like it in the State of Michigan.
The store is listed in the Gluten Free Registry - go to:

The Purple Spotted Swallowtail (Graphium weiskei) butterfly is the symbol for the store. This butterfly lives in mountainous areas
(above an altitude of 4000 ft) in Papua New Guinea and is relatively rare. This butterfly symbolizes a transformation in health for our customers and their ability to soar high despite living in a world that does not always understand. The purple color in the butterfly represents spirituality and higher consciousness and the green color represents growth and healing.
Marjie holds a Master’s degree in Holistic Nutrition from Hawthorn University. In her practice “Circle of Life Nutrition, LLC” she specializes in chronic illness with an emphasis on autism. Go to her website
www.circleoflifenutrition.net to find out more about her and the services that she offers. She meets with clients in her office located inside the store and personally selects the products carried in the retail store. She makes a great effort to select products that are of high quality, made from wholesome ingredients, and are health supportive. When possible she carries products that are locally made. She recognizes that people on a special diet are searching for great tasting, better choices in snack foods and strives to carry a wide selection of these types of foods.
Marjie suffers with a gluten, dairy, and corn intolerance and understands from first hand experience how challenging it can be to find foods free of these ingredients. Because of her foods intolerances she has suffered with an autoimmune disease from which she has since recovered. This is her motivation to follow the path in which she has chosen and is very passionate about helping others to recover their health.
